Video footage captured secretly inside an Arizona home reveals the wife of a US Air Force employee repeatedly pouring a liquid—said to be bleach—into the coffee machine. The husband, Roby Johnson, claims that this was an attempt to kill him for his life insurance.

Melody Felicano Johnson was arrested in August on charges of attempting to murder Roby. Despite filing for divorce, they continued living together until the divorce process was finalized. Roby became suspicious when he noticed an unusual taste in his coffee, leading him to believe that she might be trying to harm him to gain access to his life insurance policy.

Roby installed a set of hidden cameras in their residence, and ABC News acquired the footage on Friday.

In one instance, a camera captured Melody in the laundry room, pouring bleach from a sizable bottle into a small container. In another, she was observed glancing over her shoulder while pouring liquid into the coffee machine in their kitchen.
